Miral is right. This was just recently posted over there:

These are not just textures, i didn't use texmod or any other similar program. These are actual armours and whether or not they are from EotN i do not know, all i know is that they exist in the client and i have not seen them before. This is no client modification in anyway. This is all done using a private server, hence the 1337 char slots and my secrecy in creating a new account.

Everything i have read officially on the Asura (which is pretty much everything from the links that have cropped up on Guru and GWO since the PC gamer article) has never stated they helped create the world. The only thing that comes close is they believe they are destined to rule the world. Of course if you can provide a link which states what you say i'll take everything i say back.

how is it same concept? he has access to models AND textures. thats what I was pointing out, and that is where it is relevant. any retextures are anet's work.

Right. Just like i.e. Sunspear armor is just TexMod of Kurzick armor.
Just compare how lookalike kurzick / sunspear armor and their 15k versions are. It is not suprising that new armor would be same or very similar model. And it would make sense to base new warmors on succesfull designs that are popular amongst palyers.

Hey, many people pointed out in the E3 video showing of Gw:EotN that the armours shown on the character select screen looked like retextured existing armour models.
I'm guessing the E3 video was a fake!

I think this time around they had just one overworked artist doing all the armors. The rest of the art team is off working on GW2.

Id rather a fresh look for my war, not more of the same, different colour scheme. I want something thats a mix between gladiators and charr/ascalon armor.
Gloves look sweet, new warrior armor looks really uninspiring. Seriously, looks like the warriors walked off the set of a sci fi movie. its like robocop with the wires hanging out. C3PO armor.

I have seen enough to convince me this is legit, however I seriously doubt a lot of this will be final release versions.
I am wondering, however, if anyone has been able to find any new equipment skins in the dat file. I am specifically interested in the Glacial Blade...

Well, if they are legit, I'm rather disappointed that we only get a few new designs and a lot of re-skinned, re-colored sets. Of course, we'll have to wait and see what's really the case.

Well the new armors look very nice IMO, even if re skinned and I can see upgrading my female Mesmer to one of the sexy new styles. My best guess is that there is one armor per faction? Norn, Asura, Ebon Vanguard (Ascalon styled), and either Dwarf Armor or end game Armor. I have always considered Dwarf Armor to be armor from Deldrimor.
I'm wondering if the Elemental Gauntlets are special items needed to fight the Destroyers? Possibly each one is used to create a special effect?
Can't wait to see the new Paragon armor, since I can't stand my guy showing his belly button (so gay looking, although I don't mind the female armor very sexy) I'm hoping for something very Greek and covering, including Helms.

Go check the pics again and see how many character slots he has.......10 out of 1337 slots in use
whether or not he got them from the client, he actually states hes running his OWN priavte server. Thus infringing the Anet CoC etc blah (insert other legal blurb)
im not sure i would trust him

If you are referring to the new skill names, they've actually been revealed months ago from alpha testing. Check the wiki.
